"best vacation ever"

(from the evaluation sheet of a 2018 client)

It could be called karma, it could be called luck. Whatever you choose to call it, I am so thankful that this package appeared on my Facebook Timeline just as I was looking for something special to do to celebrate my 75th birthday.

...if you’re a senior and like to travel and immerse yourself in another culture, you can’t go wrong with having ElizabethNoseworthy, a retired NL teacher and her Chilean partner Jose’ B. Inostroza Cespedes be your guides.

This seven day/6 night hiking adventure is filled with great hikes, cultural experiences. visits to a winery, cooking class, horseback riding, star gazing; and a journey up a bumpy mountain road to Termas del Flaco where we hiked up the mountain to see the dinosaur tracks. Elizabeth and Jose make it all seem so easy.  Laughter and comradery filled the days as we hiked and learned.

What an amazing week! Can’t say enough about about my Chilean adventure with Elizabeth Noseworthy and Jose Inostroza of Foothiils Hiking Chile! If you’re over 50 and looking for an active holiday off the beaten path, and interested in learning a little Spanish along the way, this tour is for you! Our group of three was 60 and 70 plus and thoroughly enjoyed the wide array of activities.

The tour is called Foothills Hiking Chile and the hikes didn’t disappoint. We tramped over hill and dale at our own pace and experienced extraordinary vistas and landscapes which included getting up close and personal with 125,000 year old dinosaur footprints! We dined on a variety of good, local food throughout the week and cozy , comfortable cabanas for our accommodation with a delicious breakfast each morning! Thanks again Boo (Elizabeth) and Jose for your personalized attention, patience and all the great laughs;-) Hope to explore more of Chile!

Another *Tranquility Base* in South America

We have a fellow colleague friend who was leading foothills hiking for 50+ folks in the area and she made the accommodations.  What a wonderful location — away from the large towns, located next to the river, primarily pristine environment, and at night the stars compete with the Elqui Valley for brilliance and numbers.  It was the ideal location for us to relax and recoup  ... The service is excellent, the breakfast definitely one of the better we have experienced at non-hotel locations in 6 Cdn winters down here. ...Puente Negro has to be the Fruit Basket of The World.  Awesome location here in the valley surrounded by those beautiful mountains and fruit orchards like I have never seen before.

Just sorting through some photos of our trip to Puente Negro, Chile. A wonderful place to hike and absorb the culture. Thank you Elizabeth (Boo Noseworthy ) and José B. Inostroza Céspedes for being the greatest hosts.
